The Council of Ministers adopted at 121. session, held in Sarajevo, the Information of the Directorate for European Integration about multiuser Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) coordination. It is ordered that the Ministries in charge, deliver to the Directorate for European Integration, latest on June 10th 2010, the information on the working group activities for the period April-May through designated members of the working group.
The Directorate for European Integration is responsible for the resumption of informing the Council of Ministers on the coordination of multiuser IPA.
At the last meeting of the coordination of multiuser assistance, areas of intervention of multiuser IPA were defined for the period from 2011-2013. It is about the following areas: infrastructure, private sector development and investment climate, public administration and government, freedom, justice and security, human rights, minorities and vulnerable groups, the environment and natural disasters risk reduction, cultural heritage and history, and statistics. A new approach was announced in programming multiuser IPA, with the primary aim on greater involvement of beneficiary countries (Western Balkans and Turkey) in its programming and implementation. The next regular meeting on coordination of multiuser aid will be held in June this year in Albania. /Information Service of the Council of Ministers |
