The Council of Ministers adopted, at todays, 119th session,  held in Sarajevo, upon proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury,  the Decision on appointment of Sehija Mujkanović from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury  as National Authorising Officer (NAO).

The function of National Authorising Officer in the process of establishing a system for decentralised management of IPA assistance is one of the three functions established in the Framework Agreement on the rules of cooperation related to the use of IPA funds. Given that the Council of Ministers appointed on the last session the National IPA Coordinator and Competent Accrediting Officer, a significant step in the process of taking full responsibility of the BiH institutions for the use of IPA funds.
