At 153. session, the Council of Ministers, upon proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, adopted Decision on establishing control system for cross-border programmes  with EU member states.

The aim of this Decision is to establish the First level control for cross-border and transnational programmes, in which BiH takes part under IPA Component II and are implemented in shared management.

The First level of control is established in order to verify expenditure during project implementation phase. The control will be done by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury BiH, Central Financing and Contracting Unit.
